It’s that time of year again when a new bunch of celebrities are made to live together on TV in the name of entertainment.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here returns this weekend and the lineup for 2021 has been revealed.
The celebs will be taking part this year will be staying at Gwrych Castle in North Wales.
One of those who will be heading to the castle is British parasport athlete Kadeena Cox.
Kadeena, 30, is most known for her long record of medals, as well as being the first British Paralympian to win golds in multiple sports at the same Games since 1984.
Her athletic career started at the age of 15 when started sprinting competitively, she spent the next three years competing at regional events, gaining several podium finishes in the 100m events.
Throughout the next few years, the Leeds-born athlete took part in multiple events including the BUCS Championships held at the Olympic Park where she took bronze.
In 2013, she broke the 12 second barrier in the 100m for the first time.
However, her career would take a sharp turn after she was rushed to hospital in 2014 because of numbness in her arm and leg – she was later diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
The diagnosis didn’t deter her athleticism though and in 2016 she placed for the Summer Paralympics in Rio where she took home a gold medal and set a new world record in the T38 400m.
I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here starts on Sunday November 21 at 9pm.
Among the celebrities taking this year are Louise Minchin, Matty Lee, Frankie Bridge and Richard Madeley.
