We’ve got so many fantastic places to eat here in London, and so much choice – fine dining, pub grub, street food, Michelin star, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Turkish, Italian…you name it, we’ve got it.

It’s no wonder our capital city is a hot spot for the rich and famous, with many of our restaurants boasting some pretty high profile clientele.

Fancy doing some celeb spotting while enjoying meal? Recommendation site 2Chill has shared five restaurants where you could rub shoulders with the stars. But be warned, you will need to be prepared to splash the cash, eating out in most of them doesn’t come cheap.

Sexy Fish

Like many of the restaurants loved by celebs, Sexy Fish is located in the heart of Mayfair. An Asian restaurants with a Japanese-inspired menu, dishes include a variety of sushi, sashimi, seafood, fish and meat. But it’s not only the food that is loved by diners, it’s also the atmosphere, with a vibe that oozes opulence and glamour. And did we mention the whiskey? The bar boasts the world’s largest collection of Japanese whiskey.

Sexy Fish is a popular haunt for many celebs, including the likes of TOWIE regulars James Locke and Pete Wicks, plus stars from across the pond including Jennifer Lawrence and Kendall Jenner.

Bagatelle

Another of the celebrity favourites located in the affluent Mayfair is French restaurant Bagatelle. Its menu promises to offer a taste of the French Riviera right here in London with dishes that include truffle pizza and lobster fettuccine. But this is definitely not going to be a bargain night out, its menu is pretty pricey.

Celebs who’ve previously enjoyed a night out at Bagatelle include Jude Law, Love Island’s Montana Brown and Kimberley Walsh, who threw a birthday party at the restaurant.

Roka

It seems that Japanese cuisine is particularly popular with celebrities as Roka is another eatery on the list. With four restaurants in London, including Mayfair, its venues are often visited by plenty of the TOWIE cast, both past and present. Diners at its Canary Wharf location have included Courtney Green, Lauran Goodger, Billi Mucklow and Shelby Tribble.

The Ivy

The Ivy has been known for its high profile customers for years, including the likes of Oasis and the Spice Girls. In fact, this glamorous eatery has actually been serving Londoners for more than a century. It celebrated its 100-year anniversary just a few years ago. Serving a mix if modern British and Asian dishes, The Ivy has locations in Chelsea, Tower Bright, Soho and Richmond.

Some of the famous faces to frequent it over the years have included the Beckhams, Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Brat Pit and Kate Moss.

Sheesh

Okay, so we know Chigwell is technically classed as Essex, but we’re claiming it as our own seens as it’s just across the border and can be reached on the Tube. And probably the town’s most famous eatery has without a doubt got to be Sheesh. Regular celebrity diners include Olly Murs, Mark Wright and Tommy Mallet. Other celebrity customers have included Little Mix, Tyson Fury, Katie Price and Harry Kane.

Although its Sheesh kebabs look absolutely divine, other popular dishes include the truffle pizza, truffle chips and Wagyu burger.
