Forget dancing with the stars — have you tried cooking with them?
Cookbooks can be a great way to spice things up in the kitchen, especially after a couple years of cooking from home and trying to avoid restaurants or spending too much on delivery. Because of this, many of your go-to recipes may be tasting sort of stale and in need of a refresh.
Who better to provide new recipes than your favorite celebrity chef? No, you don’t need to hire one (although how fun would that be?) but instead can turn to a cookbook created by one of your favorite stars and see what they recommend. Many of the cookbooks are written by the celeb themself and contain not just new and gourmet recipes to try at home, but offer up some pro tips you won’t find elsewhere.
Some of these celebs may surprise you, as they aren’t normally found in the kitchen and instead are more often in the music studio like Coolio and Snoop Dogg or on reality TV, as in the case of the one and only Kris Jenner. These cookbooks are still super fun and also make for great gifts, too, so don’t discount the celebrities without proper chef hats.
Read on for a list of some of the best celebrity-written or backed cookbooks, including options for everyday eats, vegetarian and vegan foods and some more nuanced delicacies that will have you turning from home chef to master chef in just a few pages.
