Olly Murs named the mountains in the Lake District after Caroline Flack.
“Dance With Me Tonight” hit maker and some of his friends embarked on a fitness challenge in honor of his late friend who died in February 2020, in honor of the TV presenter, after her Lake district.
He said on Instagram: “A new peak in the Lake District! I called it” Flack Peak “because it didn’t have a name … This is a special weekend with special people and does something for a very special person did! Thank you all messages for support and donations xx ”
Earlier in the week, Olly revealed that she would scale the peak of climbing for Caroline.
He writes: “Hello, I’m attending # Climb4Caroline this weekend to commemorate Kaza. Some of us are in 24 hours to raise awareness and raise significant funding to lead a suicide prevention charity. Trekking 24 peaks ., @ samaritanscharity (sic) “
Meanwhile, Olly had previously confessed that she was “still struggling” to accept Caroline’s death.
“It’s hard, hard that Kazu isn’t here anymore. I’m still struggling. It hurts every day to think about what she must have experienced … losing someone you care about I’m crazy.
“There’s a big hole in my life without crap. I’m thinking of her most days. I miss the moment of crazy talk. I’ll have the most random conversation about the most random things. I miss her forever. It hurts me what happened. I love her. “
