ABS-CBN revealed the new batch of celebrity housemates that will be joining the reality show Pinoy Big Brother Kumunity Season 10.
After a series of teasers, PBB started announcing three new celebrity housemates per day on October 6. The daily reveal will continue until all 18 celebrity housemates for this season are introduced.
The upcoming season of PBB will feature three editions, beginning with the celebrity edition, followed by the adults and the teens. As with its previous season, PBB Connect, auditions for the latest season were done via the streaming platform kumu.
The celebrity edition is set to premiere on Sunday, October 16.
Like past PBB celebrity editions, this batch of housemates range from actors, performers, comedians, beauty queens, athletes, and online personalities. Get to know them more here:
Dubbed as “Ang Heartstrong Phenom ng Batangas,” Alyssa first rose to fame as a player of Ateneo de Manila University’s women’s volleyball team. “Heartstrong” was the Ateneo Lady Eagles’ mantra during the team’s UAAP title run in 2014 and 2015.
After her college graduation, Alyssa started playing volleyball professionally where she currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers.
KD, tagged the “Musical Wonder Boy ng Parañaque,” is a 19-year-old Star Music artist. As a singer, he has released three self-written songs such as “Sa Puso Mo,” “One of Many” and “Saves It.”
He is also a member of ASAP Natin ‘To’s New Breed of Singers and The Squad Plus, the extended group of The Gold Squad led by Kadenang Ginto’s Francine Diaz, Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin.
Daisy Lopez, popularly known as Madam Inutz, is a viral online seller. Her unfiltered interactions with her viewers, dance skills, humor, and entertaining approach to online selling has captured the attention of many netizens.
Currently, she has more than two million likes on her Facebook page and almost 900,000 thousand subscribers on her YouTube channel. In September, she also released her debut single “Inutil” on her channel.
As a PBB housemate, Madam Inutz is called the “Mama-Bentang Seller ng Cavite.”
Nicknamed “Ang Singing Sweetheart ng Siargao,” Anji started her singing career as a contestant of ABS-CBN’s reality singing competition Idol Philippines. Though she did not win the competition, Anji became a member of Star Magic’s The Squad Plus.
In April, she released her new single “Coming Back” which she dedicated to her Jewish Russian father, who she has not seen for over a decade now. She has also been performing on ASAP Natin ‘To and acted in the series Unloving U, starring Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte.
TJ was most notably known for his stint on It’s Showtime’s segment “Funny One.” He was also part of the musical play A Game of Trolls staged by the Philippine Educational Theater Association.
Prior to joining “Funny One,” TJ also appeared in various sitcoms such as Home Along Da Riles and Basta’t Kasama Kita. His recent project is the series Hoy Love You, starring Joross Gamboa and Roxanne Guinoo. As a housemate, he is called “Ang Laughter Lodi ng Manila.”
Prior to representing the Philippines in the international pageant scene, Samantha placed 2nd runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and 2019.
Brenda Mage entered showbiz through It’s Showtime’s “Ms. Q&A” segment where they placed 3rd runner-up during the grand finals.
The comedian then took part in the movie The Mall, The Merrier and teleserye Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin. As a housemate, Brenda Mage is called “Ang Fun-Along Comedian ng Cagayan de Oro.”
Eian, tagged as the “Ang Striving Streamer ng Quezon,” is a top streamer on kumu. He also starred in the short film Pa-Mine Pare.
Eian is also the brother of actress Jenny Miller.
Singer-actress Alexa Ilacad is the ninth celebrity housemate to join this upcoming season. Nicknamed “Smartista Unica Hija ng Pasig,” Alexa first rose to fame as a child actress from the kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit.
She also starred in several ABS-CBN series such as The Good Son, The Killer Bride and Init sa Magdamag, and the movie Four Sisters Before the Wedding. As a singer, Alexa released her debut album To The Moon and Back in 2016 and her latest single “Stay Right Here” in May 2021.
Shanaia, “Ang Rising Darling ng Quezon City,” first auditioned for the reality singing competition Idol Philippines in 2019 but only made it to the mid-rounds. Currently, she is a singer signed under Rise Artists Studio.
Nicknamed “Ang Mr. Mixed Martial Ama ng Laguna,” John is an MMA Athlete and model.
In 2018, he earned the URCC Global Welterweight World Championship title.
In July 2021, he was appointed as Mister Supranational Philippines 2021. John finished as part of the Top 20 in the international pageant held in Poland.
Karen, tagged as “Ang Ms. Brightside ng Makati,” started her career in showbiz as a model and a radio DJ.
