Chris Martin says Gwyneth Paltrow had told him he was “moody” to his daughter.
Coldplay’s frontman married Gwines between 2003 and 2016. The pair has a daughter, Apple (17) and a son, Moses (15).
And Chris said he was fighting his own “sensitivity” shortly after Apple was born. It will make him “moody” and “moody”.
He states: “Especially if you’re in the singing or comedy business trying to relate your mind to the minds of others, sensitivity can be a superpower.
“But I realized that my sensibilities came out in a very bad way with other bands. I’m really chunky, moody, and moody in the studio.
“Or, if someone didn’t play it the way I wanted, I would be a real d ***.”
“It was with my daughter that it really hit me. She realized that I was so used to being a little unpredictable that I had to navigate it. Dad was upset. I’m still working on it because I don’t want her to feel like she can’t be herself in case she does.
“I had to show it, but I’m really grateful.”
The “My Universe” hit maker also admitted that it was Gwines who helped him handle his emotions in a healthier way and made him change his way.
When asked who pointed out that he was in a bad mood while appearing on the “You Made It Weird” podcast, Chris added:
“At this point she is like my sister, and in my life,” you may want to work on it a bit, and it may improve your entire life. There are some people who are grateful for saying. “
